Cold Pigment Dyeing
Cold pigment dyeing is a textile dyeing technique that involves using pigments suspended in water to color fabrics. Unlike traditional dyeing methods that require heat to facilitate dye absorption, cold pigment dyeing relies on mechanical and chemical processes to bond the pigment particles to the fabric fibers without the need for elevated temperatures. This method is particularly suitable for natural fibers like cotton, as well as synthetic fibers that don't readily absorb traditional dyes.
Cold pigment dyeing offers a creative and versatile approach to textile coloring. It allows for detailed designs, patterns, and artwork to be applied to fabrics without the need for heat. Additionally, pigment dyeing can result in unique effects, such as the layering of colors and the creation of textured appearances.

Callouts
- 1. Material should be sent in fresh polybags.
2. Material should be sent to dyeing after proper checking for cuts, damages, stains etc., because we check goods randomly.
3. In CPD small batch is used for dyeing so there will be lot of shade variation in production.
4. Only R.F.D fabric should be used no white fabric should be used otherwise it will become patchy.
5. Low gum density sticker should be used. If stickers can be avoided during stitching it will be best.
6. From top to bottom there will be high low colour effect in same garment.
7. Rejection percentage in cold pigment dye will be 10%
8. Material should be Pre washed.
9. The material should be sent as per the lots made during blanket dyeing. This will help in reducing the shade band as we will be getting marked garment from each lot.
10. We recommend to have a pre – production so that everybody is aware of the callouts for running style.
11. Production will be started only after 1st bulk lot approval.
